POMONA IN COLOR POSTER. - Marketing Material
The promotional phase of the Pomona in Color documentary required a visually compelling poster that could attract audiences while communicating the film’s cultural and artistic themes. The objective was to create a design that reflected the documentary’s established visual identity and captured the vibrancy, diversity, and evolution of Pomona and its creative community. To achieve this, I translated key visual elements from the documentary into a static format by maintaining consistency in color palette, typography, imagery, and overall tone. I focused on creating a strong visual hierarchy and dynamic composition that balanced storytelling with promotional clarity, ensuring the poster remained both eye-catching and informative. The final design successfully functions as both a promotional asset and an extension of the documentary’s narrative, reinforcing the film’s themes while engaging viewers through a bold and cohesive visual presence.
